Upstream travels from the bottom of the river, and heads up to the origin of the glacial fed lakes in Iceland, to the mighty glaciers themselves! It starts at the lakes at the mouth of the river, and winds its way up past streams, rivers, and colossal waterfalls amongst the rugged Icelandic landscape.

"I was travelling in Iceland in December 2022 without a particular short film or documentary in mind, so I was mostly just appreciating the landscape and the incredible diversity that it had to offer. Over just one week I was able to experience everything from crystal clear coastlines, freezing and windy waterfalls and the immense presence of a fracturing glacier. It wasn't until the end of my trip that the idea to piece together a short story from the lake to the glacier was conceived." - Remy
